OVERVIEW

This unit of competency specifies the outcomes required for tilt-up induction training within the construction industry. Licensing requirements will apply to this unit of competency depending on the regulatory requirements of each jurisdiction.

The OHS unit of competency this is required to carry out OHS requirements through safe work practices at any on or off-site construction workplace, requires the performance of work in a safe manner through awareness of risks and work requirements, and the planning and performance of safe work practices with concern for personal safety and the safety of others.

WHO IS THE COURSE FOR?

This unit of competency supports the needs of site supervisors and builders with a responsibility for supervising tilt-up work on site. It complies with the National Code of Practice for Precast, Tilt-up and Concrete Elements in Building Construction.
